Sounding Supplies
Firstly and most important, it is CRUCIAL to maintain a 100% sanitary environment wherever you will be doing sounding.
Step 1 for any session is to doctor wash your hands:

Alcohol Prep Pads – crucial for sanitizing the rods, and keyboard, mouse, your phone, anything you might touch before, after and during the session ~$5 https://a.co/d/7wOAfUp
Surgilube – not good for stroking your cock, but essential to be the only kind on the rods that go inside. ~$13 https://a.co/d/5eL1sL5
If you touch ANYTHING that hasn’t been sanitized mid-session, including your phone, you need to re-sanitize your hands.
If you don’t maintain a sanitized environment, the risk is introducing infections which can be quite awful and embarrassing, and completely unnecessary.

Silicone
Some people enjoy silicone insertables due to their flexibility. The caution with this type of toy is that it’s a challenge to fully sanitize them, and that is the most important thing in all of this. It is doubtful that an alcohol wipedown can be thorough enough. Perhaps consider them each as a one time use toy if you aren’t going to do a boiling or alcohol soaking regimen.
